Mine safety training. It’s mandatory.

If you are a small mine operator you know or should know you are required to comply with the Mine Safety Health Act (MSHA).  MSHA will visit your mine site to conduct inspections at least 2 times a year.  This is mandatory.

The MSH Act lists the mandatory safety regulations which mine operators must abide.  Any non-compliance WILL result in a citation.

If you are a small mine owner, you are busy trying to make a living and earn money to pay employee wages.  But mining is a known hazardous industry and keeping your employees safe is key to your success.

Be compliant with the MSH Act and you will keep your most important asset, (employees) safe.  MSHA has created a short booklet outlining all the safety steps mine operators need to follow.  For more information, check out https://arlweb.msha.gov/training/materials/small-mine-guide/small-mine-guide.pdf, MSHA’s Education Field & Small Mine Services.

Be safe. Be compliant. Run a successful mine business.
