MSHA Equipment Hazard alerts:
As you know various manufacturers from time to time issue product recalls or some other quality problem notice. I was intrigued to learn that the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) does the same think.
MSHA has two types of alerts; one a safety alert the other is an Equipment Hazard Alert.
The equipment Hazard Alerts cover such things as power hand tools, self retracting fall protection lanyards, to high pressure gas fittings. These alerts are not generated by MSHA but rather are gathered and disseminated by MSHA. Take a look see and learn if any of the items listed are in use on your mine. Also, consider letting you purchasing department know about this product information list.
